Mr. G.

I wasn't 100% sure which section to post this in, so please feel free to move it if needed.

I've got an MXR 6-band EQ that I would like to add a volume/level pot to, but I'm not sure how to go about doing it.  Anybody got some suggestions?

So far, the only DIY project I've done is a 3 loop + tuner out bypass pedal, which turned out great.  So, I'm still a noob  :icon_redface:

connect the output wire to the 1 lug of the pot
the 3lug of the pot to the ground
and the 2lug is the output
i dont know the circuit but i guess you'll need a 250k-500k pot

Thanks for replying.  I wasn't sure if the pot should go between the input and circuit or between the circuit and output.  What difference would it make?  Should I use a linear or audio taper pot?  Lastly, what would the differences be in using a 250K or a 500K pot?
