Hello,

I want to build these fuzzes, but i can't find PCBs for them (on FuzzCentral there are some PCB for Maestro, but there are different versions of that i want).

Thx a lot!

There`s a guide to the Univox Superfuzz here with a schematic and PCB layout.

Here`s another layout I etched recently.

Here`s a layout for the Maestro FZ1-S which is a later version of the two models you mentioned.

Not what you asked for but as I just etched it the link was handy. I`m sure you`ll find the others somewhere or other.

What`s wrong with the ones at Fuzzcentral?

Thx a lot for your links!!
I never found them again, even i know very well to use the "Search" buttons of any site...:)

I've built sometime ago  the GGG's FZ-1S and still remains in my personal Top 5 fuzzes of all the time...so i want to try some variations of it.

The PCBs from Fuzz Central have no problem, but i want to build this version:

I prefer to use 9V instead of 1.5V/3V...

By the way, i've looked here, on http://ustomp.com/?p=12, and i saw a "BIAS" pot.
What's for?
As far i can remember, i didn't see it on the original schematic...

I believe it`s for balancing the octave effect. Could be an externally mounted pot or set and forget internal trimpot. I haven`t built it yet so I can`t comment other than that.

Loads of threads on the forum.
