Ok, finally got back to it.
I probed the op amp. There is a signal coming out of pin 1, but its really faint.
When I fed the signal to pins 2 or 3 I got nothing, even when I took the output straight from pin 1.
So this means, that the IC is fried?

Now I'm suddenly getting a signal, when I connect the input jack straight to the output jack. As I was explaining earlier, the output seemed to suck the signal, but not anymore. Weird.

I'd replace the op-amp.  Do you have any of those?

Dont have any, but local parts supplier seems to carry LMV 358. I suppose that's ok?

The fact that it's a SMD is a problem. I don't think I have proper tools. Do you think I could just put it on top of the old one, without removing the original?

I think I have some at home.  PM me your addy and I'll send you one.

Just desolder the old part one pin at a time and lift the pin before going to the next one.  Clean off the pads when finished and solder the new one down.  It's easy.

Thanks guys, but I have to get other stuff too, so I'm going there anyway this week. It's 0,85 € + no shipping.
