Howdy Chaps, I've been away for a few years, doin art stuff and playin at being a builder, but I've got the itch again and before I go through my boxes of unfinished projects from way back I thought I'd have a go at this.

I was going to ask about a resistor over the top of the PNP BC307 seeing how it would need one equal to the bottom one on the collector but seeing the .gif again I realise I just left it out when I was copying it with pen and paper. Seems I've learnt a little after all!

Anyways, has anyone built one of these babies or own an original and give me an idea of whether It'll be worth my effort? Thatas a silly thing to say I suppose. I just want to know if it sounds good, hopefully really good. I like the fact that its all discrete transistors and I'll be able to learn quite a bit from it as regards the pairs at the far right which seem like the inside of a VCA? IC. I can kinda see what going on but I'm hoping that when it's built I'll be able to figure it out better.
Monkey see, monkey do.
