I just modded my MM4 to fix the volume drop as well as putting in new blue led's. It works but now it wont let me save presets! its stuck on what was saved before the mod? Can someone help me figure this out.....

That's weird.  Those pedals are known to get weird though.  HAve you done the factory reset (plug in the input to turn power on while holding the far left and far right footswitches down)?

Tried it twice and it does no good?

THIS IS NUTS. SOMEBODY HELP!!! What could be the reasons for this?

I have a busted DL-4 that is the only pedal I'll never be able to fix, (spent way too much time trying, had to force myself to let it be a $200 paperweight)  as it is a computer and you can't get the schematics from Line 6.

One thing I tried with mine that sorta worked was grabbing the eprom out of a different Line 6 modeler pedal, switching it, doing the factory reset, switching the eprom back, reset.  Might jar it out of its weird state.

Or it might be worth checking over the board really closely, especially the digital section (the half of the board on the footswitch side) for anything weird, like a little solder splash, burned component, cap that popped its top.  Sorry, don't know what's wrong with your pedal, that's just what I would try if it were my pedal.  If  you wanted to get gung ho you could look up the data sheets for all of the chips in the digital section and figure out which is the memory, (that stores the patches when the pedal is turned off) and source that chip (like ask the manufacturer for a sample, if it is still in production) and try replacing it.  Or if you can't figure it out and wanted to do other stuff with your free time, get rid of it on ebay, people are strangely willing to pay a lot for those pedals broken.
