Hey all. IM building the Filter-Sample / Hold and dont want to bother with finding the max1044, as I dont mind using 2 9 volts at all.

looking at the pcb lyout from tonepad...I see the red wire would connect to my pos batt. Would the yellow trace in the pcb connect to my neg? Just want to make sure.

thanks.

first of all you the two batteries must be connected this way:

  -battery+ -battery+

on the left you have  -9V with respect to the centre which is your ground and on the right you have +9V
red trace to the + (right)
green to ground (centre)
yellow to - (left)

I guess you can  also use just one battery if you're already using a power supply:

-battery+  -PS+

just remember, the PS must be in the positive part, as its minus is connected to ground in all your other pedals.
Only those who attempt the absurd will achieve the impossible.
