im building a ross compressor from ggg and i was thinking of adding in a overall volume knob to the pedal since the box has an extra hole in it already...so first off im wondering if its all that necessary... if id be much of a benifit on this pedal... also would i just do this by putting like a 10K linear pot in between the board the output jack?

essentially what you want to do is have a compressor follow by a volume pedal. Basically a voltage divider or a pot.... try 100 k
so your options are get a volume pedal, or build in a pot... or set up a trimmer pot inside.

Frankly, i don't think having something like this is all that useful.

You could use the hole for a toggle switch and do the Mark Hammer attack switch mod.  I'm sure a search here would bring something up, or there are detailed instructions at fuzzcentral.

well i built it today just how its supposed to be cause i figured out the the "level" pot was the volume already on it. so i got it all built and tested it out but all it does is act as a big volume control. everything seems to hooked up right, the led and the bypass and all. the only thing that seems off is the 500k lin pot for sustain shorts out a little towards its max. ill try to put pictures up tomorrow but if anyone has any ideas or experience with this pedal please let me know.

well i did a search and found someone else had the same problem and it think its the transistor pin out. the layout has CBE but its actually EBC ... hopefully that will fix the problem

so i checked the pin out and i had the emmiter and collector backwards...will i still be able to use these if i switch them or will the be broke after hooking them up wrong?
