CD4007AE, CD4011AE and TL022

It's my first time ordering, and I find it a little confusing.

According to the schematics I need:

- CD4007AE
- CD4011AE
- TL022
- 4016 (which I assume is CD4016?)

I'm really having trouble with the endings. I can't find the 4007 or 4011 with AE on the end, and cannot find the TL022 without all sorts of endings. Same thing goes for the CD4016!

What exactly do I need to order to make my pedal work? I also have a smallbear electronics question... When they write "mf" (in capacitance) do they mean uF?

Thanks

What circuit is it?  Link? (if it's appropriate to do so and one exists).

The vast majority of times it doesn't matter about the extra bits of code.  Not for the stuff we build, at any rate.  All you should be concerned about is finding 4007, 4011 etc chips.  If it is vitally important then it usually say so on the schematic; something along the lines of, "Only use ** type chips as others don't work as well/at all".  Very rare that this is the case, though.

It's this.

It doesn't say anything like that, but it does use 4016 without any endings, while it uses CD4007AE for that IC for example. You guys think it's safe to just go for 4016, 4007, 4011 etc?

Does smallbear mean uF when they write mf though? (speaking of capacitance)

Thanks

Yes.  So long as the chips you're ordering are part of the CMOS 4000 series, just go for it.

For the CMOS chips, I think the 'AE' types are essentially THE most commonly available ones.  If you can find TL022s anywhere, I tip my hat to you - one of the less available dual op-amps. (An LM358 subs for it in many applications, though this usage looks like it can easily accommodate a pair of TL072s or a TL074).  The bigger concern, from where I stand, is that if the suffixes confuse you, make a point of following across the entire line in the catalogue entry so that you order the form factor you want/need (through-hole or surface mount).

yeah
