i think a few people have discussed this and decided that it could be made to self-osc but it would change the character of the filter (?)  when the character is precisely what makes it desirable.  there are plenty of other self-osc filter designs out there...

I have 2 of them in my modular synth, for Oscar imitations.
The wasp filter can be made to self oscillate, just change 1 resistor.
And the character of the filter is not changed by this mod.

Cool thing about it is that the filter "flutters". It's like it can't stick to a certain frequency, it seems to "flutter" (can't think of a better term)
This gives it a unique musical character. Distortion is also very high. Great filter.

Yes.

I have a 10k resistor parallel to it. You can use a switch to have both options.
