Source for 12VDC 1500mA transformer?

Building a power supply for 3 or 4 low voltage tube pedals.  I've searched Mouser without luck.  Can anyone point me in the direction of a good small transformer with these specs?

Also, will the variable power supply at Tonepad support this amperage?

Thanks,
Joey

Hi Joey,

I'm assuming you're after a wall wart as you spec'd Vdc. Jameco has loads of wall warts and this one fite the bill.

http://www.jameco.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?langId=-1&storeId=10001&catalogId=10001&productId=1928151

Be forewarned, earlier this week i put together a Jameco order of knobs and a handful of switchcraft jacks, $57 in parts, small light parts, they wanted $27.25 to ship it to Canada, cancelled the order.

I intend to build the power supply.  I just need the transformer.  I would take a wall wart I suppose if it were regulated and filtered, but then we're getting into Pedal Power which is like $250.  I can make this for about $20 if I can source it properly (and find the transformer).  That flatpack may work nicely.

I think you want the flat pack one posted earlier from Mouser.

I noticed the subject of your post says 12VDC transformer, but I believe that is a wall wart type thing only.

If you want to build your own "clean" supply you'll have to get a step down type transformer, like the one from Mouser, it puts out AC, but you'll be filtering that to DC with the rest of your supply.
