is it possible to make such preamp?

I'd like to use ef80.I also have ecc82 triode.

It has to have gain, treble and bass knob.

I want to use it to attach guitar with PC line in.

ATM there's not much about pentodes...I got some and will start breadboarding in a while...Until now, you can find a couple of 6418 projects in the gallery. See if they may be helpful....

Got ECC82??? BUILD A VALVY!!!  :icon_wink:

Should be easy to design using a space charge tube, referencing that schematic.

Jimmy-H ,this got no bass, gain, treble contrtols...and how is this penthode working on 36 V???? Usually tubes use 300V...all bellow 100V is "fishy" to me

GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR :icon_evil:
How'd you say it cannot work?!?!? Just try one!!!

You have to understand that tubes aren't only for those high voltages...12V can make quite a sound!!!
