Hey there,
After much searching and reading some of the speculations that the Purple Platypus was a Red Llama into a Green Ringer, and a bit of hemming and hawing on my part, I finally took action and put the two together in a box to see what would happen.  For what it's worth I think it's pretty close.  I'm no pro here, so I just took layouts from gaussmarkov.net (thanks for the resource GM!), put them back to back so I could share grounds and did some creative jumping on perf.  I'm pretty pleased with the results and I'll post some sound clips soon (by the way, how do I do that? I have the recording thing down ok, I just need to know how to post)  I'm not entirely sure if I love the pedal in and of itself, it's definitely good for the annoyance factor, but I think that it might be much cooler to put it in a box with 2 switches so I can mix or match sounds as I please.
Thanks everyone for all your help and inspiration!
Chris

When you post the sound clip just have it hosted somehwere and get a link to it.
Click the hyperlink symbol and copy your address in between the URLs.
Make sure the link works by trying it first.
