Two boosters, both ends of the spectrum

A friend of mine would like a booster to pair with his MusicMan and Ampeg V4 amps. He's not too sure what he is looking for so I figured I would build him one cleaner boost and one distorted boost. Which two would you recommend? He runs the amps pretty loud but he likes their clean sound so I'm thinking that a cleanish boost would be great. Just enough to kick the amp over the edge and add a little of its own grit too ya know?

I figured I'd build an LPB as a reference (plus he described his desired tone as "punchy" and from my understanding this is a punchy circuit). I would also like to include something that offers a different flavor. What would be a good opposition to the LPB? A Fat Booster perhaps? I was thinking the Peppermill even since it is a lighter overdrive.

The Mini Booster sounds awesome!  Has little bit of grit and color to help shape the sound.  Might be nice to try.  Also, check out the Golden Dragon overdrive and other variations of the mini booster/ mu amp stuff.  The Golden Dragon incorporates a gain control to dial in the right amount of grit vs. boost.  I've done the LPB as well and I thinkn they'd compliment each other well.  I'd probably put the LPB first in line to be able to overdrive the Mini Booster a little.  Could sound good...

I have LBP [and two other choices, Si, Ge, in Tri-Booster] I use as much as the Minibooster which is also on the pedalboard.
I would suggest that the input cap is a good item to have as a choosable value, depending on what your friends likes and his amp sounds like with...
