Help me out here

OK, so between my busy schedule and my other computer taking a poop....my projects have been on-hold and in disarray, and my notes are gone. So, tonight I sit down to regroup and inventory all the bits in my electronics stash...and I came across the bits for some specific project. I'm hoping I can throw the list up here and someone can clue me in as to what I was going to build! And by the way, has anyone else ever done this??

A JFET booster/overdrive/distortion with diode clipping?

That's my best guess. Which probably means you'd be better off until someone who knows what they're talking about posts a reply

That is a lot of diodes, especially considering how few other parts there are. It does seem to be a booster or fuzz. Also the 10k pots are not big enough to be a typical volume control, so we can probably assume your circuit doesn't have one, my guess would be fuzz/boost and tone. Do you think those are the only parts you need or could your gathering have been interupted?

Normally, you will need an input cap, an output cap - whoops, that is all the caps gone!
So if you really are using all three J201s, they must be direct coupled to each other.
There aren't any caps left for an oscillator (LFO) or a tone control - unless either the input or output cap doubles as a tone element in conjunction with one of the pots.

Maybe the next 'competition' should be, "what useful thing can you build with this stuff?".

Just occurred to me, I probably should have mentioned that these parts would have been for a pedal project already posted here somewhere...not my own unique design (I'm not to that level yet).

With FET's and Diodes, the first thing that came to mind was one of the various Transfet circuits that have been tossed around on here.  The JFet Vulcan is another one that uses lots of FETs and Diodes. 

You're still short on Caps, though.  Are you sure that the list you posted is complete?

  MiniBooster takes care of 2 Jfets...and 1megs, and the 1k..
  Kinda short on caps and higher impedance volume control.

The list is complete as to what was in the bag, but I may have ordered the stuff knowing that I had other components "in-stock" to fill in the gaps.
Maybe this is a good reason to smoke less dope?? NAH!!
