Simple Question for The Wise Ones. IC Buffer + Booster

I have an IC buffer and wanted opinions on which booster (germanium, IC, etc) you would recommend including in a single enclosure running in series....(IC>booster). Any anecdotal suggestions would be appreciated. I do not need help wiring, just anyone's 2 cents on what ended up sounding "good". Trying to keep pedalboard as clean as possible. thanks.
