So.
I've been ordering about bi-weekly from either SBE or PPP.
I got an order in that I just unpacked today.  I had ordered a half dozen BS170 mosfet trannies...  I went through all my schems that I've downloaded and can't find a single one with those transistors.
I haven't had any experience using mosfets (or Jfets) for a build yet as I'm still a serious rookie.
SO I beg you...  What kind of recipe calls for these devices? *_*

Yeah, several of the Zvex pedals use the BS170 - Box of Rock, Machine, SHO, Super Duper, maybe more.

BYOC Mouse, it's a ProCo Rat but with a rotary switch to switch between various clipping diodes, and in the last position it uses 2 BS170's.

Thanks for reminding me.  I really had no idea, it was because i started building "The pedal that shall not be named" and realized that i was missing those guys!

Oh yeah.
and on the topic of things I don;t know if I can use... I by accident ordered a 4558 ic chip.  But this one is a 4558B (16 pin) not the standard 4558 used for the TS mods and stuff.
any ideas while were on this thread of stuff I don't know how to use?  (no penis jokes inserted here. thanks.)
