Hi,
While I anxiously await my tonepad MKII pcb, I decided I would like to add an external bias pot to the layout. From my research, it looks like R6, the 8.2K one, is what should be sent to a 10K pot for biasing. To do this, would I connect what is relative to the board the top hole (connects to R5 and C4) of the board to Lug 3 of a pot, and connect 2 and 1 to the remaining hole on the board?

Also, why is the 2.2M resistor in red? i noticed that the BYOC MKII uses 1M in its place.

Thanks for any help

Good choice on having  adjustable external bias, those guys are so unstable.

I would use a 20K pot. Connect the wiper and one out side lug to either side of where the 8K2 resistor was. It dosent matter which outside lug you use really, depends how you want the pot to act. Id use 2 and 1.

That 2M2 resistor is just there to prevent popping when the switch is engaged. Bleeds the input cap off to ground, anything above 1M or so will works fine. I like to use 1M, no higher for me.
