Akai Unibass UB1 - Anyone know anything about it?

Somebody in town has one of these for sale.  It looks interesting, and rather unique (though I have to say I have yet to find an Akai pedal that wasn't a little...different).

I have to say I like that latched/unlatched feature!

I have one on my pedalboard.  I don't use it a lot but it does come in handy for filling up spots with the added fifth or octave up.

Is it an all-analog device?

(P.S.:  The Cdn $ went down a lot the last few days.  It may just be "package time"! )

I've never looked inside  but I doubt it's all analog.  The latch/unlatch feature is also nice for short usage.

Just say the word on that "package".
