i tested my ROG EA tremolo at higher volume and with other effects, it sounded very good and natural on it's own but with a distortion in front and higher volumes it behaves strangely, on initial attack on a note the effect is barely audible, i can hear it's there but barely and as the note decays the effect becomes more obvious, i tried wit a behringer tremolo in the chain and no matter what i feed into in the effect is always obvious and choppy.

Try reducing the distortion output level and compensating with the EA Tremolo's Volume.

i tried reducing the overdrive volume and getting more vol from the trem and it helps a little but not much, the effect is pretty much inaudible on initial attack (sounds great without any other pedal though  :icon_sad: )

the ROG ( yours  :D ) but with the 120k and 68k removed and the depth replaced by a 500k pot, to get 0 depth up to a choppier sound... i like the sound of most amp tremolos (twin, ampeg, etc...) and they chop through any signal you send them, the EA does that on it's own but the OD overwhelms it (still tremoloes a little but not choppy at all, almost like if i'd turn the depth down...)

What distortion circuit is it?  I can try out my EA Tremolo build to see if it happens.

i treid with a clon centur  ;) and a BD-2, both big headroom but i'm sure a red llama or OCD would produce similar results...
