Ok I have built a rackmount FX box.

I want to be able to bypass it from a foot switch

I would PREFER to use a 3rd party footswitch if possible. (i am already using the Roland FS-1 for a hold function and it would be nice to get a second roland or boss pedal)

the bypass itself could either be something fancy or something super simple. This will be the first effect in my chain.
Now i have been looking at the millennium bypass. i could make a board of that.
BUT i have no idea how to get a bypass system to work with a footswitch that is on the floor.

The footswitch i have for my hold function is just a simple on off and it is NOT TRS

so i am wondering also...do they even make foot switches that are ON/ON?

ANY HELP highly appreciated.

if i cant figure this out i might just make a dry/wet knob instead but i dont think that will have the immediacy i am looking for.

thanks so much
