Hey,

I've been doing some mods to my black Russian BMP. Had it working great but was trying to deal with ambient noise issues by changing resistors and caps. Now it sounds extremely mellow...almost no distortion. I'm not too adept at reading schematics so I was wondering if somone has a layout handy of could fill me in on the correct values for the caps and resistors. I figure it must be one of two problems: I replaced a resistor with the incorrect value (a problem with being colour blind and working with electronics) or I put a cap back in the wron place (a problem of working on electronics at 2am) :P

I've circled in blue the caps I removed (470pf) for the creamy dreamer mod.

If anyone could help me out I'd be eternally grateful!

Are the resistors circled in red the ones you changed?

Sorry for the confusion. This pic was used to demonstrate some other mods. Ignore the other scribblings. The diodes are intact. I have been changing all the stock resistors for new ones in hopes that it would reduce amient noise. The two resistors circled in red have been removed at jumpered as to creamy dreamer specs. Likewise emitter Q3. The caps circled in blue have been removed. All this worked fine until I started upgrading the caps and resistors.

Thanks

Actually, even a clear picture of the circuit board where the transistor and/or caps values ar visible would be great!

I suspect it's a misplaced cap so if someone with a black Russian issue Big Muff could just check the values or markings on the caps in theirs and help me out of this jam that would be a huge help.

Thanks!

Here man
I just had a quick look ,sorry for the shaky writing I'm not used to using Gimp (Linux) The transistors are all C547CW57. Correct me if I'm wrong my eyesight aint that good  ;)
Hope this helps
Steve

Oh yeah my one is a 2005
let me know if theres any thing else

Perfect! Thanks Steve!!!  ;D That's exactly what I needed. I'll figure it out tonight and let you know how it goes. I owe you big time!
