Does any one know how to fix the volume drop in the MM4?
Keeley wants $100!!!

Im hoping its just a resistor to change????

Rodgre

Yes, please tell me too.

I love my DL-4 so much, and the MM-4 sits right beside it on my pedalboard every gig. I just wish it lived up to the standard of the DL-4 a little more. The volume drop/thinning when it's engaged is a bummer. It's the opposite of what would happen were I to be using an analog chorus/flanger/vibrato (but it sure does remind me of a Small Stone :) )

It will just be a resistor change, I've been through that part of the circuit.  I can check tomorrow or monday probably if no one knows off the top of their head.  Actually an external dual pot would be best, because I'm sure some of the models may have different perceived volumes from each other.

Change R36 and R37 to a 24K. I think they are located near the and between the jacks.

Also, remove C1, C23, C24, C36 if installed. This was an incorrect ECO that put a cap to ground on the wrong side of the true bypass relay.

BEN:   Mos Eisley Spaceport. You will never find a more wretched hive of scum and villainy. We must be cautious.

LUKE:   But I was going into Toshi Station to pick up some power converters...

VADER:   I find your lack of faith disturbing.

Does this apply to the DL-4 too?

Just opened my delay to take a look. I located the R37 & R36...looked like a possibility with a regular iron. Also found the tiny capacitors in those mentioned positions. Found 2 TL072 opamps that are probably replaced for hifi. But, my gut tells me that work like this is best left to the smd elves at Keeley, Inc. I'd love to mod it myself for the cost savings, but knowing my soldering abilities....might be best to see this as an investment in a pedal that I've owned over 10+ years! Might be nice to replace those switches too. I'm guessing that's a standard wear point.

so i got around to this.....   dont ask why it took so long! ha!

i accidentally removed the pad from the north side of r37!!!  where does that pad connect? anybody help!

Its the right side output and without it i cant run stereo.
