What would be the best input cap for the bazz fuss that would preserve the whole spectrum of the bass ( not cutting to many lows or boosting the highs?)

and can I put a 500k pot between q1(MPSA13) to ground for something similar as a dirt control?

any help thanks

Do a search for the Deluxe Bazz Fuss... I believe for a dirt control they used a 1K from the emitter to ground...

Ok I got all the mods I want except for what caps to use for the input, I want something that will preserve the lows and highs of the bass........... any ideas where to start would be helpful. This is the first bass pedal Ive ever built.

Mess around with the cap value, try .68uF, 1uF, 10uF....see what you like best!
