XLR Microphone killswitch

Does anyone have a layout to make a killswitch for XLR?  I assume this is pretty easy, but I know nothing about XLR wiring...

The schematic is right there at the bottom. It's very simple.

I have one of these actual units. Oddly enough, mine has no capacitor and no resistor. It worked fine with no popping in my tests using both a dynamic mic and condenser mic, but I've only used it for maybe two minutes total.

The cap is there to block DC when using phantom power. Without it, you will be shunting the phantom supply directly to ground.
