I'd get the Weller, based on experience with the brand....I have an old Weller WTCP Magnastat...must be thirty years old, but working perfectly. the other one looks like the Chinamade knockoff ( I could be wrong thou.."looks like"...) I bought to my rehearsalspace...not happy with that one. the tips don't even come near, in terms of quality, when comparing to the long life Weller tips
