Dynacomp with Jangle knob instead of switch?

Hey all.  I'm building a dynacomp right now, and I'm planning on doing the "Jangle" mod, which simply lifts the .001uf cap parallel to the 150k resistor at the output of the 3080.  I was wondering if there was any way to convert the switching in or out of the cap to some kind of blend using a pot?  Even if the effect was less dramatic, it would be cool to have a little more control than just on, or off.  Anyone done this sort of thing or have any ideas?

Replace the 150k resistor with a 51k fixed resistor and 100k pot.  Tie the 51k to Vr, one outside lug to the 51k, and the other to the 3080 output.  Run the .001 from Vr to the wiper of the pot.

That will leave the 150k path as is, but vary how much of the 150k path the cap bypasses.
