Screwed up front panel - look kinda retro

A friend wanted a high Z booster making for his Bluegrass band - he has a couple of instruments with Piezo pick-ups which wouldn't drive their mixer.  I did it but messed up the front panel, but I think it actually makes it look a bit old and battered.  View for yourself:

The part with the paint missing looks like Africa.........

The only enclosure I've ever painted is 8 months old..........and looks 8 years!

I don't bother painting anymore - not one of my skillbases.

Sorry, gave the wrong impression, I didn't actually apply the paint job, just the decal.  I did cause the paint to blister though when I applied steam to clean up the job.  That was a bad idea.  Steam is really quite powerful at getting paint off stuff (as I now know).
