Just a quick simple question

I tried to build this but all I got was bypass working, where the "boxes" are do I need to cut the stripboard and where the "strips" are with no markings do I just solder in a piece of wire to connect those strips together?

Much thanks, I have been reading around the internet for the past 12hrs and my head is swimming with info now and I just want to know before I go and try this again if I need to cut those then I will start with a new board since mine is full of solder..

Oh the joys of begining. Smiley

Yes the little squares with the circles in them are where you cut the traces. The lines are where you connect the ends together with a wire, but not over where the wire goes, just then ends.

Thanks for the reply.

I failed again, this time though I cut the board at least :) I have new parts all are the same minus the .01u looks different but same rating, I got a flat instead of rounded and Q1 and Q2 are BC108's that differ slightly from orignial kit that I purchased, all other components are the same rating and appreance.
I can get  bypassss to work but even without the wires from the board hooked to the 3dpt switch it hums along a nice buzz.
I will have to do some reading tomorrow as it is now time for bed.

Going to bed is a good idea. Sleep is an essential part of debugging, I have found.
You will get there!

I have tried 2 more times, still only getting the bypass to work and nothing not even a buzz now when I hit the switch.
ugh.
Time to dig out the multimeter I guess...
