Same old 'help me w/my broken pedal story', I know -

I bought a dead/dieing DE7 off a guy who said that as he turned the feedback knob up into oscillation, and it just cut out on him. I bought it for the hell of it, plugged it in (battery) and played around with it and it was fine, except the LED wouldn't turn on. I just left it as is and figured I could tell whether it was on or off by hearing it.

Now today I went to mess around with it a bit more, and it seems to have died again. Well.. almost.

I take the cord out, strike a note on the guitar, then plug the cable back in, and the sound comes back for about a second then dies away. I check out the battery and it measures ~12V's ( :icon_eek: ) so the battery isn't dead. I then noticed that there is an LED lighting from insides the pedal, through the little hole between the pedal casing and the knob. So I figured I'd take it apart and see what was up. Apparently there is an LED next to the power jack... I dont know.

Anyway...

I'd like to get this pedal up and running as the DE7 is one of my fav delays. Any guidance you have will be greatly appreciated  :icon_mrgreen:

Thank you and Happy Christmas,

Matthew
