mind blowing fender blender ?

if you love yours to death, i would like to hear about your transistor hfe values and voltages.
mine sounds nothing like thick and gnarly distortion w/ octave...more like i have a choice between wimpy shrill fuzz or a flabby bass fuzz                                   ...no heavy gain or fat mids (kinda like an acoustic nylon through a fuzz pedal)
