What's the best for toner transfers...

the thick, really glossy covers like on Spin and Rolling Stone magazines?

the thin semi glossy covers on cheaper publications?

or the actual content pages?

I'm not having much luck with any :(

I use the inside pages with as much white showing as possible.  I have had no issues really.  Just iron and soak in water then peel off with thumb and maybe use a platic "scrub" sponge.

I have used the interior pages from magazines with a great deal of success.  I also echo using as much white space as possible.  I used the index pages from a catalogue with great success recently!

When you say you are not having much luck what do you mean?  You can't get the toner to transfer? it doesn't adhere? ironing it is difficult? It smears?  What are your issues with it.

Like the previous guy said, just iron, soak, and rub off.  I usually don;t use anything more than my fingers to get the paper off and do it right after ironing with minimal soaking.
