What is a reasonable lower limit on font size when using press and peel to etch an enclosure? I am guessing that using a bold font for the smaller fonts would help, but would appreciate any help.

The thickness of the letters is the most important part. If it's thin, like a calligraphy script, it won't show as well as something large and bold. Use your best judgement, but I think that if you use a reasonable font, anything above 1/4 inch should etch fine.

At 600 DPI you can get away with 4pt size fonts if you gravity etch (etch topside up) and use a decent quality printer. Thicker is better like hday said.
