Mystery Compressor (maybe) ??

got this on ebay for almost nothing. the pots arent doing alot and i was wondering if anybody could track it down.....?
The person claimed it was a compressor on the ebay description.

3 knobs and not alot of parts?

the transistor is an 5088
it has a .1 cap (input?)
4 resistors
a 22uf elect
a 10uf elect

a b5k pot with a 47uf across two of the lugs???
a10k pot with 103 cap coming of the #1 lug???
b100k

on a small bear perf board

all it seems to do is muddy everything up! ha!

Man, why is that ringing a bell?  Seems I did see a quick and dirty single transistor compressor schem recently.  Didn't look like it would do much.

I know! it sounds like its impossible but it seems to muddy everything up but it does have a compressed feel??
