hi guys, i just ordered a belton brick to make a reverb pedal...been meaning to build one for a while

just a question or 2 to anyone thats built it...

http://www.musikding.de/Active-parts/ICs/Delay-ICs/Accutronics-BTDR-2H-L::3130.html

which schematics/layouts are you guys using for this?..

i'd like a wet/dry mix...and maybe a tone too...

can it have a time control?

cheers guys. :)

cheers.

cheers sisko,  yeah i guessed there was no time control..

ive been looking at this schematic, using a quad 074...

If you ordered the one that the link takes you to, it looks like you ordered the long delay model. The short delay model makes for a better reverb.

If you use Eagle, I have files for a reverb that has Reverb (mix), Tone, and Dwell (room size) that I based off of the BYOC build that used the larger brick. I reworked a layout for the smaller brick that fits in a 125B enclosure. It sounds pretty good! I was surprised!

I just designed a new fuzz circuit! It almost sounds a little different than the last fifty fuzz circuits I designed! ;)

deadastronaut

hi larry, yep i ordered the long one..i wanted a long reverb for volume/delay swell type stuff so thats fine by me.

i don't use eagle i'm afraid, i just use diylc, ....shame,

however i'm really interested in that 'dwell' (room size though...)..??? schematic?

I can send you the schematic and my layout if you'd like and you can rework them in DIYLC.

PM me with your email address.

I used the Box of Hall schematic, and followed IVIark's vero layout from here:

http://tagboardeffects.blogspot.co.uk/2012/04/box-of-hall-reverb-culturejam.html

I used the long delay brick and it seemed pretty good to me.

deadastronaut

cheers mark....i just don't like vero, i'm a fussy bugger= pcb snob.... ;D

glad the schemo is verified though...did you mod it?..(those mods by heavenwithin on the tagboard siite)

I liked the long.

The schematic I used is a little earlier in the thread already pointed to.
