DD-3 Mods to version 3 (made in Taiwan)

High all I recently bought a DD-3 that is made in Taiwan and I was researching the effects loops and hi-cut mods. 

High-cut mod -
So basically connect a low value cap between the wiper and the 3rd lug on the effect level pot and basically the same tothe feedback pot for a "tape" mod.

Effects loop -

Ok all I've found has been information on the older pedals not the newer made in Taiwan pedal.  So has anyone done this mode on a MIT pedal??!!
