Would you fellas mind reviewing my first layout attempt to make sure all looks good on it? I'm more confident in the board than I am the offboard wiring.. :-[.
The layout was created from the Whisker Biscuit schematic found at runoff groove. Heres a link to the schematic: http://www.runoffgroove.com/whisker.html

and here is the layout. Props to bancika for the awesome program.

R2 should be 100K
R6 should be 10K
R13 should be 100R
R12 should go directly to the 9V connection.  You've got it tapping off the collector of Q3.

I think that's all. One wiring error and 3 parts list errors.

Good catch on R12, I'll have to fix that.
I can clearly see where the resistors you mentioned are wrong on the layout. I'll fix the values on those...Im shocked I screwed up 3 of those.

Thanks for reviewing that!

Do the connections look good to pots/switch/jacks?

Hmm, I built it today and I get a LOT of hum when turning the volume up at all. I'm also getting some weird oscillation noise as well.
I'll have to go back and check my board wiring again to see what I may have screwed up. Too tired right now...  :icon_redface:

So I looked over the board and the wiring connections. All "looks" like it does in the Layout and I'm still getting an ungodly amount of noise when I turn the volume up even slightly. At its lowest settings, you can hear audio but it sounds garbled.

Are you sure the layout looks good?
