positive ground pedal connected to negative ground pedal- Is this when I need to build a buffer?. For example I read that this will help a wah work better when connected to a positive fuzz I note that connecting any two pedals ith different grounding it gets really noisy when not played. Is this fixed by using a buffer? Thanks

Only if the pedals need better impedance match will it be 'needed.

Wahs are known for having impedance issues with 'positive fuzz' if that means Ge Fuzzface..and yes a buffer/
...a buffer won't remove noise, it is an impedance booster, the voltage gain is 1:1.
