Would this 3 way selector work?

Just wondering if this would work, or would I need splitters at the beginning to split to each compressor and a mixer to sum the two outputs to one?

95% of the time they will only be used independently, if that matters. I thought it would be good to ground the inputs of the compressor not in use.

Basically I am just wondering if this will degrade my tone in any way. I don't see any reason why it really would since the effect is not connected to weigh down the signal any...

also, if anyone had any brilliant ideas on how to switch between 1, 2 or both LED's that would be awesome!
