ok, i have do the search on the forum, and haven't found my answer...

i have build the boss ce-2 from tonepad http://tonepad.com/getFile.asp?id=101,
it was working fine until i try passing the unit from 9v to 12v with a power supply,it work'S for a few minute and then pop, it stop....i found that the wire for the output was loose, so i play with it and sound come back, when i try to fix it, the unit stop again, but now there's no sound coming from the output,so i cut the wire and probe directly to the output on the pcb, no sound anymore,  i verify every chip with the table of voltage found there http://www.diystompboxes.com/smfforum/index.php?topic=69046.0, and every IC is working fine, so i probe and found my dry sound is at pin 6 on IC1 (4558)after that nothing, my wet sound finish at junction of Q3-c14-r19-c12, between c14 and r22 nothing, so i try jumpering c14 with same value (i thought maybe c14 is fry) and nothing change....is it supposed to have wet sound between c14 and r22 ??? cause mine doesn't...
now it's on 9v for the debug...
any help will be appreciate.....

thank's

Bucksears

Not really much of a help, but I had noise issues and voltage cap heating up with my Tonepad CE-2.
I hate to say it, but after going in circles with it,  I gave up on it and built their Small Clone. Works just fine.

find it....

i did the level mod, and the level pot that was under the pcb turn a little (didn't tight enought) and was touching the other pot and putting the signal to ground....DOH!

thank's
