Hi all,

I'm thinking about putting 2 circuits (an orange squeezer and a green ringer) in one BB enclosure, and wiring it so that i can have either on, neither on, or both on.   Either using 2 footswitches, 1 on/off for each effect, or 1 footswitch for on / off and a sp3t switch to select 1 or the other or both...or something like that...probably the 2 footswitch idea would work better...

Has anyone had any experience with this sort of thing?  I'd imagine its been done plenty of times before...?

Thanks for any help!

Something you might try is having an input and output jack for each effect.  That way you can choose which effect you want in front and which in back.

Independent switches are definitely the way to go.  Also, check out the juggler at geofex.  With a 3pdt toggle you can switch the order of the 2 effects.

Hmmm, didnt think of the inability to change the order issue.  Ill have a read of that link.

Thanks for the info!

Also at Geofex is the concept of using switched jacks for multi-effects boxes to allow reordering the effects using patch cables. It's in the Jimi-in-a-box article, found here: http://www.geofex.com/Article_Folders/jiab/jiab.htm
If you're not doing it for yourself, it's not DIY. ;)
