I was considering purchasing the Cafe Walter headphone amp when I noticed that the site provided the schematics.  Would building this preamp be a feasible project for a beginner?  I've had a little bit of experience soldering but otherwise would be learning from scratch.  I was hoping this would be a good project to start learning.  I'm a physics major and I know a few electrical engineering majors who be able to help me out.

You can build it with some help. If you take it slow, I think you can do it.

What exactly would I need?  I was hoping all the parts would be available from radio shack or online.  I have a some basic soldering tools, would I need anything beyond that?  Would I need to print up a circuit board somewhere?

Some links to a few guides or tutorials to get me started would be appreciated, especially since my primary source of guidance will be moving back to school pretty soon.
