I built a positive ground and negative ground on vero (both using oc44's) and the negative ground is way more noisy. Does any one have knowledge of why? :icon_question:

Does any one have knowledge of why?
Only possible why's are possible with what we have here.
1  Transistor is a noisy one?
2  Some other reason.
1 If you socketted it's pretty easy to try different transistors, if not the leakage/gain circuit for testing Ge's might tell you something.
2 A once reverse polarized cap, something with the PS, is about all I can think of, off the bat, I would try to nail #1 down further if everything else is exactly the same except the polarities.
Convention creates following, following creates convention.
