Hello,
I'm building an EQ. It's a combination of the GGG eq and the GE-7 (boss).
I have drawn this schematic:

It works fine and boost all the frequencys I want, but there is a terible hiss. It's not a ground hum.
I tried severall thing and here's what I came up with. When I detached the eq section the hiss is gone.
When I add one EQ stage there is some hiss and it gets louder when i turn the knob to boost.
When I connect more EQ stages there is more hiss.

I have used mylar caps for the EQ stages and not tant caps(as posted in the GE-7 schematic).

So what's the dela here, can somebody point me in the right direction to solve this hiss problem.

I think there are some mistakes in your circuit diagram.  The first thing to ask is: have you made the same mistakes in your actual circuit - I haven't time to check everything right now but the non-inverting inputs are not biased as per the original circuit for one thing - please check everything and if there are still problems get back.

well that's not the problem. It's biased correctly like it should.
I use a biopolar powersupply style.

So, the + inputs of IC2, 3 and 4 are not wired as per your circuit diagram?
