My TS-808 Drive pot isn't working

I've hunted through the circuit numerous times and can't figure out why the drive pot isn't working... It's not shorted and is connected to the board where it's supposed to be I believe... This is my first pedal but I've had a little bit of circuitry training. Both other knobs work great and I am getting a nice signal from the output. Something is up with the drive area or whatever. When I use my audio probe, I notice the only place that the knob even gets a response is after the 51k resistor. Also, it sounds overdriven all the time, and I have this sort of hiss when the level and tone pot is up all the way.

Here is an image showing my build on a perfboard and also a diagram of the layout I'm using from tonepad. You can't really see the first diode in the picture, but it is there, just look at the 2nd image I've marked them both with black stripes. If someone can help me with this I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks.

Welcome!

Have a read through the What to do when it doesn't work post.

Post backsome voltages and we can then compare to what it should be and go from there...

First guess from me though: dodgy drive pot.  Desolder it (ie take it out of circuit) and test its resistance at various points through its travel...

Hi
Subst the pot for, say 3 resistors . One at near zero one at Pot middle resistans and one at pot max resistans. solder one end of all resistors together with a fly wire to one of the "to pot" on the PCB and an other fly wire to the PCB and to change betwen resistors If it works the pot is gone if not you have a problem. and need to submitt your readings for the comunity to help you.
