On the McMeat Schematic, C1 is a Polarized Capacitor rated 470n.

What does that value translate to ?  I cant find that value anywhere.  The best I could find is that is converts to a .047uf Capacitor, but I want to make sure.  On the schematic, it indicates a radial Electrolytic Cap, and I cant find one in that Value.  What am I missing ?

Thanks for the help

That would be a .47uF capacitor.  They're using an electrolytic one for space-saving purposes.

Actually, C1 is not an electrolytic.  The confusion comes up because the text is chopped off on the layout.  The electrolytic in the upper left corner is actually C18 (47uf).  C1 is right next to R1 and the input, down from there.

Ahh, I didn't look at the layout but just went by what the OP said.  Thanks for the clarification.
