Wondering if this could be workable.

So I've got one of those extra large Radio Shack perfboards lying around that I've had for a few years, awaiting something big to use it for. So I was thinking about maybe building a Rangemaster, FF, and Tonebender on it, then throwing it into an extra large enclosure with a single stomp switch, 1 pair of jacks, separate controls for each, and a 3 way rotary switch to select between circuits.  My reasoning is, it's highly unlikely that I'll be using more than one germanium box at a time, and it would save on space.  Thinking of calling it the Cerberus Project.  :icon_twisted:  Think it could work, or am I trying to do too much at once?  Thanks.

I like the sound of that... Individual effects pedals are cool but something draws me to all-in-one packages. Your idea reigniting my desire to build a loaded rackmount unit.

Cool.  My main concern was with whether or not there would be enough poles on the rotary to accommodate an "out" from each circuit, plus all the grounding, switching, etc.

And if I was any good at art/graphic design I've even got an idea for a graphic:  A 3 headed hound, one of which being Beano era Clapton, the middle one being Jimi, and Pagey as the third one.  ;D

Just throing this out there, but I don't know of a switch that large, but maybe a three way switch that control power to three separate DPDT relays, each controlling bypass of the individual effects.

You can find dp6t rotary switches without a problem (I've got a couple waiting to be used right now).  That would let you do true bypass on all three if you want.

How about this one?

:icon_lol:

I got it off of a "data switcher" box that i bought for it's enclosure today. It switches between four different 25-pin cables to one I/O. 135 solder lugs!

I can't believe someone hand soldered all 125 wires to nearly every lug on this beast, AND the lugs on each of the five 25 pin connectors.
