MCS Scale-o-matic

Has anyone actually used the scal-o-matic at http://stiftsbogtrykkeriet.dk/~mcs/Scale.html?

It's easy enough to use, but the image is too big for my project.  By the time I shrink it down to the right size for the project, it gets so pixilated that it's unusable.

I'm working in Paint Shop Pro 9.0 and the project is primarily a vector project with some raster layers.  The eps and png options both import as raster's, but are huge relative to the rest of the project.  By the time I get it to where it fits, it starts to look really bad.

I'm no PSP expert, but I was hoping maybe I missed something easy.  Any tips?
