Just doing some photobucket stuff so I took a few photos of what I'm working on.

The uglyface just needs the diode trimmer set then I'll put it in heatshrink and solder in the ldr and, apart from a base, it's a done thing. Next to that is Nelson's Fuktave (in a) Stompbox... N.F.S. which incidentally means Not For Sale in art circles. It needs wiring up.

And while I'm here I'm making a guitarish thing that I'm quite happy with. It's got an old short scale bass neck and the strings are tuned Low D, high E, high E, high B (the set of three) then a mid A then mid D. So I can play bass, high power chords and then melodies on the A and D.

The resonator has a electret mic mounted underneath and insidie so theirs two outs.

Those bronze braising rods are designed to be flicked and bounce up and down on the strings and there are two more that come out of the front of the body and work on the thick strings. I saw this guy, at a noise gig, with a magazine rack made from steel rod making it vibrate and eventually he lowered it onto another guys guitar strings and it sounded really good. A happy coincidence I'm going to make alot of use of.
Monkey see, monkey do.
