Rev Audio Pot Question

I know this has been covered elsewhere, I have read the secret life of pots and a few other posts on it, but cant quite get my head around it. What I need is a 10k rev log. what i have is a 100k lin pot. Can you tell me what size of resistor i need I think its 10k between the wiper and post 3. the resistor reducing it by x10. But im not too confident of my understanding.
