4 cable method bypass

Ok here it goes.  I'm wondering if this would work as a bypass to the 4 cable method.



Basically when no power is supplied to the relays my guitar signal will run straight through to the amp input.  Also the Send - Return will be have  a direct path between them.

Then when switched on the guitar input is routed to my Line 6 input.  Comes out the Send to the amp input.  Out the amp send to the Line 6 return.  Out the Line 6 to the amp return.

I have an adapter that's 6 volts and the relays I found were also 6 volts.  Now I am completely new to this but willing to give it a try.
Does anyone have any recommendations before I get too far into it?
